Here are the policies of our company. Please read them through carefully.

Reservations

A Reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of:

1) The return of our “All Policies Acknowledged and Agreement Form” completely filled out and signed.

2) Deposit

When booked online or once the form is received we will take a $1000 deposit for all charters. Deposits can be paid by cash, cheque, E-transfer, Visa or MasterCard. The $1000 deposit acts as the damage deposit when you arrive.

3) Payment options:

Option 1:
The full amount of your charter is due 90 days prior to departure date.

Option 2:
The full amount can be paid in 3 equal payments. 1st one made 90
days. 2nd one made 60 days and the 3rd one made 30 days prior to your charter date. If option 2 is used there will be a $30 administration fee added.

When the deposit is taken, we will then e-mail you your confirmation letter confirming your boat, dates and the amount owing.

No reservations will be made to persons less than 21 years of age.

Cancellation Policy for Payment Option 1

If cancellation of your charter is made more than 90 days to charter date, the booking deposit less $150.00 will be refunded.

If charter is paid in full 90 days prior to trip and you have to cancel between 89-60 days of your trip then you would be refunded 2/3 of the charter price plus the deposit. If you cancel between 59-30 days of your trip then you would be refunded 1/3 of the charter price plus deposit. If you cancel 29 days or less then you would be refunded only the original deposit of $1000.

Cancellation Policy for Payment Option 2

Pets

Sorry, no pets allowed on board.

Boarding

Boarding time is 10:00 A.M.

If you are running late or know that you will be arriving later than the 10:00 A.M. board time please call and make arrangements.

The need to call us upon arrival is important as our office is not on-site, thus:

  • If arriving from the south you need to call us from either Tisdale or Codette.
  • If arriving from the north you need to call us from either Choiceland or White Fox.

Return Time

The houseboat has to be back to our dock by 3:00 P.M. on the last day of charter. All your gear off, cleaned, ready for walk-through inspection. Fuel and propane (for the hot tub only) are measured at this time.

Early Boarding

Come the night before if you can! Early Boarding has been priced affordably so that our customers can take advantage of this great feature. Early Boarding allows you to arrive and sleep on the boat at the dock the night before your charter to prevent an early morning drive and/or perhaps the need for a hotel along the way. Our goal for Early Boarding is at 8:00 P.M., or when the boat is cleaned and ready. At that time we do the walk through, payment and a majority of the paperwork.

Early Boarding is limited availability, and must be pre-booked.

Early Boarding Pricing:

  • 8-Sleeper, 40′ houseboat is $150.00 plus taxes and insurance
  • 10-Sleeper, 45′ houseboat is $175.00 plus taxes and insurance
  • 12-Sleeper, 50′ houseboat is $200.00 plus taxes and insurance
  • 16-Sleeper, 56′ houseboat is $250.00 plus taxes and insurance

Complete Captains and First Mates orientation will be given on the operation of the boat in the morning before you assume command. The earliest you can call us for this instruction is 7:30am. So, if you are an early riser you can easily be houseboating away by 10:00am.

Important information regarding Early Boarding:

  • Arrivals later than 9:00 P.M. will not be accepted.

Damage Deposit

The damage deposit is $1000.00. The deposit that was taken at the time of your booking holds your reservation and is also the damage deposit upon arrival; consider it paid. The damage deposit will be applied to – damage to the propeller and or houseboat, lost, broken or damaged inventory and or, an excessively unclean boat. This $1000.00 can also apply to the fuel that you use and for the propane for the hot tub use on the 12 and 16 person houseboats on return.

If the boat is returned as the condition it was rented, the full deposit will be returned and you need only pay for the fuel and propane for the hot tub.
