Nipawin is serviced by good blacktop highways—55 and 35, and is 141 kms (88 miles) east of Prince Albert, 281 kms (170 miles) northeast of Saskatoon and 379 kms (235 miles) north of Regina.

Air service is via Saskatoon’s Diefenbaker International Airport and chartered and private aircraft are accommodated at Nipawin’s municipal airport.
